Past Events:

German Heritage Day happened August 10th 2019 at Lakeshore Technical College and the Lutze Housebarn.  The morning symposium included 5 expert speakers presenting on the culture of of Germany in the 19th century, and the emigration movement to Wisconsin in the 1840's and 50's.  A fun academic gathering was followed with afternoon events at the Lutze Housebarn.  See all the details here!
May 5th 2018 was a big day for BREAD!
Bread Making Workshop (morning, fee based, brochure here
Wood Fired Pizza Lunch, 11-12:30 (Members and Volunteers N/C) Public $10/person
Bread Baking Bee, Noon-3pm (Historic Bread Baking and Fund Raiser) come and help, watch, buy some loaves to take home?  Now with OnLine Ordering here.
Lutze Genealogy Exhibit time TBA, (after all, they were 'bred')?  :-) 
A "Name that Antique Tool" display
Local farmer and grain vendors with fresh ground local flour, and even more!
Live Music with Ryan Kautzer Accordion and Gypsy Swing from 11 till 2:30pm.
Then Sunday May 6th join in the fun with a bratfry at the Plymouth Piggly Wiggly, 9am till 2pm.
Saturday August 18th, German Day at the Housebarn, 11am till 3pm, more details soon.

You are cordially invited with your friends to an Old Fashioned Christmas Dinner and Celebration.  Sunday Dec 3 2017  4pm social time, 5pm holiday dinner.  Reservations required, all the details here in our poster.

August 19th 2017 - 9:30 till 11:30 Old Time Trades Workshop.  Learn and do: timber framing basics, making mortises and tenons, hewing, chiseling, shingle making, log peeling, see restored stump puller.  Concurrent: Pioneer Skills Events.  Candle making, ax throwing, demonstrations of weaving and spinning, soap making, old-time encampment.

August 19th 2017 - 9:30 till 3:30 Immigrant Days.  Visit a pioneer encampment, browse local vendors wares, learn historic trades and occupations.  Discover foods that would have been grown by pioneers in our heritage garden.  Join us for a fun filled day with pioneer toys and games, 3 legged race, tug o war and much more!  Free and open to the public.
